I thank the Lord for my deep Christian heritage.  I was raised in a strong Christian home.  I have a deep love for the Assemblies of God movement, and I fully believe and preach the sixteen tenets of faith.

My role as Senior pastor is to develop active and mature believers.  I am committed to the preparation and motivation of the church to effectively minister to one another and the community for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission.  I believe that every facet and program of the church should be involved in evangelism.  Soul winning must be the number one goal of any Pentecostal church.  Every believer is a disciple of Christ.  The proper training of each believer is necessary for all ministries of the church to fulfill the Great Commission.

Missions and Christian Education programs are vital instruments of my ministry.  I believe there is no greater tool for evangelism than Christian Education.  We are only one generation away from extinction, and we must educate our children in Christian principles.

The Church must be a place where families can come together in unity and love of the Spirit.  It is to be a place for spiritual and physical growth where each believer may satisfy the hunger of the heart.  Also, we need to provide a place to disciple new believers, to teach and train all believers with the biblical discipline of Christian life, and to lead them into the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  Finally, we must prepare the next generation of Christians, our children and youth, for the service of the Lord.

A missions giving church will be a growing church in every way.  Supporting missions will do for a church what faithfulness in tithing will do for the believer.  I have the great privilege to have shared the Gospel in Mexico, Uganda, Kenya, and Moldova.

District support is of the utmost importance.  The local church must support its District financially as well as participation in camping programs, retreats and councils.  I hope this information has helped you see into my heart as to the direction that Lord is taking us here at River Hills.  God bless you and we hope that you will worship with us.
